The famous Honda 4-stroke engine concentrates on chomping up snow at a phenomenal rate while charging a powerful battery. This battery runs two powerful electric motors, which provide strong, independent drive – straight to the tracks. Imagine two tennis courts under 30cm of snow. The Hybrid will clear it in as little as six minutes, so when there’s a storm on its way – you won't have to worry.

This unique Honda Snowthrower is a combination of 4-stroke snow-clearing performance, powerful electronic track drive and superior, intelligent control. Three technologies fused together to beat the hardest of winters.
Engine and auger
A tough iGX 4-stroke engine is at the heart of the Hybrid. Its sole purpose is to propel the auger, focusing its power into gulping vast amounts of snow and throwing it as far as possible. It’s clever too, and can sense the resistance of thicker snow, regulating itself to work at an optimal speed.
Battery-powered track drive
Two strong electric motors provide the drive and save fuel – because without them you’d need a bigger petrol engine to do the same amount of work. These dual motors work independently from the engine and are so quiet you can drive the Hybrid into position early in the morning without waking a soul.
The brains behind the brawn
An on-board, fully diagnostic system – with indicators – can detect alerts during start-up and operation. It can also monitor battery charging and adjust the performance between the drive and the auger. In fact, it’s so intelligent and easy to get on with that if we gave it a voice… well, maybe in the future.
