Take a closer look
The Öhlins inverted fork is race-ready suspension, with huge potential for circuit use due to improved on-the-limit control. The 55mm outer tubes are massively rigid and deliver precise steering, while the internals give fluid damping, incredible feel and with full adjustability the scope to find the ideal set-up.
The sculpted single seat unit saves weight and the revised seat material is firmer.
The first thing you notice about the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP is its distinctive paint work – a classic Honda Tricolour with white base and dual-tone carbon-effect blue.
The screen is not just there for wind protection - it’s been redesigned to work aerodynamically with the fairing. This means the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP cuts through high-speed air resistance cleanly and efficiently.

The chiselled rear sub-frame is lighter, countering weight gain from the race specification Öhlins fork and Brembo calipers; the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP shaves 1kg overall.
The CBR1000RR Fireblade SP’s 999.8cc four-cylinder engine is armed with a gas-flowed cylinder head and polished ports. Peak power has increased by 2kW to 133kW and 35mm exhaust downpipes boost mid-range torque.
